The week of Basel Art is over, so let’s take a look at some of the best events that happened in Miami this December.
But first of all, you must have gone to Convention center for Art Basel to see the real art. With galleries from all over the world, Miami Beach is teeming with modern art, including paintings, sculptures, photos, installations and of course digital art. Among the galleries exhibiting, there were The approach, Daniel Blau, Cabinet, Eigen + Art Gallery, Goodman Gallery, Simon Lee Gallery, and much more. All visitors and art collectors were able to buy their favorite work of art, take a guided tour and enjoy a cocktail or a meal in a café.
Besides the art exhibitions, Miami was full of amazing events happening all over the place. So let’s dive into the fun part of Art Basel.
Maris Raffa Art Basel Experience
To kick off Art Basel, Maris Raffa hosted five captivating speakers from Brazilian entrepreneurs at Maris Raffa Art Basel Experience for cocktails, art and revolutionary conversation on Tuesday, November 30 at 3:00 p.m. The New World Symphony, 500 17th ST, Miami Beach FL, opened an exclusive art exhibition, Experience Club US, in honor of famous street artist Eduardo Kobra, known for his huge murals in bright colors and lines dramatic. At the event, the public had the chance to hear from five well-established entrepreneurs: Joel Moraes, Carol Cantelli, Cris Arcangelli, Chistian Barbosa and Thiago nigro. Speakers discussed a variety of tips from business professionals and stories of their successes that have inspired future business owners. End the night with a special rooftop party where guests enjoyed the night with cocktails and the Kobra exhibit.
NFT BAZL x SLS South Beach
Basel Week officially started in SLS South Beach (1701 Collins Ave. Miami Beach, FL) on Monday November 29th with an exclusive partnership between NFT BAZL and the hotel (SLS South Beach). The event celebrated the innovative launch of an exclusive NFT collection from SLS, coupled with special perks and perks for hotels. This collection was exhibited during this SLS South Beach event and is now available for purchase directly from every hotel room.
The VIP launch event took place during Miami Art Week at SLS South Beach presenting a unique collection of works of art, as well as a selection of new artists from Fine Arts Carousel. More than just an exhibition, this event featured a live performance by the multifaceted artist and DJ Kasseus, who created his own work of art on location during an immersive sound and light show. His final work is available for purchase on the NFT BAZL Marlet.
Guests have flocked Hyde Beach at SLS South Beach, Wednesday December 1, to launch the 4th edition Art Week See you at sunset, hence several interactive NFT screens Demski surrounded by guests by the pool, plus special live performances and sounds hosted by DJ Lexi. In addition, many pieces of Giuseppe Ferlito took over the Hyde Garden perfectly complementing an exclusive sculpture by Zevi G.
On Friday December 3, the Vancouver-based electronic duo, Bob Moses, through a melodic and lyrical ensemble à la Hyde Beach disco by the pool (SLS SoBe). The crowd lit up when the duo released the iconic tracks “Time And Time Again” and “The Blame”. Bass and faults got guests dancing well after 2 a.m. that morning.
Maxime Magazine came down on Hyde Beach from SLS South Beach club for a starry cover launch animated by Cover Model Cindy kimberly Saturday December 4. Spotted were Teyana Taylor, Larsa Pipen, Austin Mahone, Super Duper Kyle, and Cardi B with boyfriend Gap. The party included art installations by Ryan keeley and a surprise performance by the revered duo RNB from the 90s, 112.
Miami Art Week took place in style on Sunday evening, December 5 at SLS Brickell’s SAAM Lounge with Kendall Jenner hosting a VIP gathering for her award-winning 818 Tequila. Jenner was all smiles in a bodycon midi dress, posing for photos as she played hostess, her guests sipping the artisan spirit and savoring bites, including Smoked Golden Beet Tartare and Spicy tuna cracker sandwich with rice.The glamorous Miami ensemble danced the night away to the beats of DJ Cardi in the cozy Cocktail Lounge, located at 1300 S. Miami Avenue in Miami, Florida.
Overall, Art Basel Miami 2021 was a success. With artists and art lovers from all over the world, the city was filled with joy and excitement, and people finally had something to celebrate this year.
